While Season 29 of DWTS is coming to an end, there might be a new DWTS season we can all be excited for very soon. While there have been no confirmations, DWTS is approaching its 30th season which means it could potentially be an all-star season.

An all-star season is when top contestants from past seasons that were either fantastic dancers, fan favourites, or ones that were eliminated too soon come together to compete for the ultimate mirror ball against each other. The last time they had an all-star season was in season 15. With season 30 being another 15 seasons going by, we think it is time DWTS have former stars compete again instead of inviting new ones. Keep in mind our list only contains stars that have competed from season 15 and on. Here are 20 stars we think should come back for an all-star season:

Honorary mentions: Zendaya, Amy Purdy, Normani Kordei, Adam Rippon, Ally Brooke, Nastia Liukin, Evanna Lynch, Carlos PenaVega, Mackenzie Ziegler,Hannah Brown, Bindi Irwin, Laurie Hernandez, Wanya Morris, Nyle DiMarco, Alexis Ren, James Hinchcliffe

20. Jana Kramer – The country singer and Gleb gave some of the steamiest dances on DWTS. Not to mention, she landed just short of the podium despite being one of the best dancers that season. We know she would want redemption!
Season: 23
Placement: 4th
Potential partner: Gleb (original partner) – they’ll both bring the heat

19. Heather Morris – The Glee star had one of the most shocking elimination in DWTS history. After scoring the season’s first perfect score on week 6, she was voted off right after. She was also heavily criticized for being a professional dancer before, dancing backup for Beyoncé but to be fair, a lot of other contestants had dance backgrounds as well and her dance style was not ballroom.
Season: 24
Placement: 8
Potential partner: Val – she has the discipline and technique he likes and he is a popular professional that could help with the votes.

18. Lindsey Sterling – this violinist along with Mark Ballas had some of the most memorizing dances that were definitely robbed of an Emmy or two. She is also a fierce competitor that was just shy of the mirror ball.
Season: 25
Placement: 2
Potential Partner: Mark (original partner) – they match each other’s top notch creativity and quirkiness

17. Rumer Willis – this actress and singer who also happens to be the daughter of icons Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, surprised everyone with her gracefulness on the dance floor, even helping DWTS veteran Val win his first mirrorball.
Season: 20
Placement: 1
Potential Partner: Val (original partner) – Can you imagine Rumer dancing with anyone other than Val? They both match each other’s intensity.

16. Amber Riley – The Glee actress and singer set the record for the highest first week score with all 9’s from judges and have never gotten less than an 8 the entire season. She would be fierce competition in an all-stars season!
Season: 17
Placement: 1
Potential Partner: Brandon – he has this fun energy that we think Amber would really get along with.

15. Juan Pablo Di Pace – The Fuller House star also had a controversial elimination. After landing a perfect score, and being the front runner the entire season, he was eliminated due to lack of votes in week 8. Some have even called him one of the best male contestants ever.
Season: 27
Placement: 5/6
Potential Partner: Cheryl (original partner) – they have great chemistry and memorable dances. We want encore!

14. Frankie Muniz – The former child actor was not the most technically advanced dancer, but had a lot of charisma which can go far with votes! Audiences loved how dorky and relatable he was as well as admired his determination to win.
Season: 25
Placement: 3
Potential Partner: Whitney (original partner)- Frankie can be hard on himself at times and Whitney keeps him calm

13. Charlie White – the Olympic ice skater started out as a strong contender but kept missing out on perfect scores week after week. When he finally did obtain that perfect 30 in week 9, he was unfortunately eliminated just before the finale. We love his personality and would love for him to come back to prove he is worthy of more 30/30’s.
Season: 18
Placement: 4
Potential Partner: Emma – they’re both charming and fun and underrated

12. Jeannie Mai – The host of The Real brought contagious energy to the show. She oozed positivity and is an extremely hard worker which is why fans were sad she had to drop out of the competition due to an emergency surgery but we would love for her to have a second chance!
Season: 29
Placement: 9
Potential Partner: Brandon (original partner) – they have the same sense of humour

11. Alfonso Ribeiro – most known for his role on Fresh Prince, Alfonso is the oldest mirrorball recipient when he won at age 40. He wowed everyone with his ballroom abilities and blew it out of the park when he did the famous Carlton as his freestyle style. Alfonso has the charm and the technique so even in an all-star season, he would be a strong contender.
Season: 19
Placement: 1
Potential Partner: Whitney (original partner) – If he is going to repeat the Carlton again, it definitely has to be with Whitney.

10. Janel Parish – the Pretty Little Liars star was a spectacular dancer who also had insane chemistry with Val. Despite being a great dancer, she landed in third place. We know in an all-stars season, she would prove to be mirrorball worthy.
Season: 19
Placement: 3
Potential Partner: Artem – in the switch up week, Janel was partnered with Artem who she also had great chemistry with.

9. Milo Manheim – The former Disney Channel star was a shoe in for the mirror ball after having been the front runner the entire season but was shockingly robbed of the title when it went to Bobby Bones, who did not nearly have the scores Milo had. He is one contestant that deserves a redemption round.
Season: 27
Placement: 2
Potential Partner: Lindsay – they are both youthful and are at a similar height

8. Sadie Robertson – the Duck Dynasty star was a joy to watch. She not only danced beautifully but has a positive aura to her that inspired a lot of the audiences watching.
Season: 19
Placement: 2
Partner: Mark (original partner) – Mark’s creativity is out of this world. It takes a special partner like Sadie to nail his dances.

7. James Van Der Beek – the Dawson’s Creek actor turned out to be a charming ballroom dancer! He was definitely the front runner and a fan favourite but unfortunately, had to drop out in the semi-finals due to his wife suffering a miscarriage. We are sure fans would love to see him on screen again!
Season: 28
Placement: 5
Potential Partner: Sharna – they both give off old school glam vibes

6. Paige VanZant – the UFC fighter brought a lot of sass during her time on DWTS. Not only did she hit every dance routine but they were super memorable as well.
Season: 22
Placement: 2
Potential Partner: Alan – the two had amazing chemistry that was never fully explored when he filled in for Mark

5. Rashad Jennings – the NFL player is perfection. He’s got the athleticism, dancing abilities, and personality. If anyone’s got a clear shot of taking this all the way, it would be Rashad.
Season: 24
Placement: 1
Potential Partner: Emma – they both have the same energy to them and he helped win Emma her first mirrorball.

4. Jordan Fisher – the actor and singer easily won his season and even set the record for the most perfect scores with nine dances, and is also the youngest male contestant to win.
Season: 25
Placement: 1
Potential Partner: Lindsay – they’re literally the boy/girl version of each other

3. Meryl Davis – the ice skater is often referred to as the best DWTS dancer of all time. Her and Maks have so much passion in their dancing that people thought they were in love!
Season: 18
Placement: 1
Potential Partner: Maks – even if he says he has retired from DWTS, we are sure he would be willing to come back one last time to take it all the way again with Meryl

2. Corbin Bleu – the High School Musical star sure did learn something from those set of movies because every performance was like a Broadway show. His dancing was so full of pizzaz that you can’t take your eyes off him. He was extremely close to winning in his season, we would love for him to take on 1st place.
Season: 17
Placement: 2
Potential Partner: Peta – she would have the pizzaz choreography suited for Corbin.

1. Riker Lynch – many have said that the actor and singer was robbed of the mirrorball during his season as it was neck and neck between him and Rumer. Ultimately, he was placed as runner-up so many would want to see a redemption for him.
Season: 20
Placement: 2
Partner: Allison – her time on DWTS was largely marked by her outstanding choreography with Riker so if he’s going to go for the mirrorball a second time, it has to be with Allison!
