
<p>A new season of <em>Dancing With the Stars</em> has begun and<strong> </strong>it has been met with some <strong>controversy</strong> when Olivia Jade, who was caught up in the college application scandal was cast, given her a shot at <strong>redemption</strong>. </p>



<p>It was revealed yesterday that two-time champion Val was her partner. In a backstage interview with <em>Access</em>, when asked how proud he is of Olivia&#8217;s performance that earned her all 7s from judges, he says, <strong>&#8220;I&#8217;m very proud. She&#8217;s exceeded my expectations.&#8221; </strong></p>

<p>Then, blatantly admitted that <strong>he didn&#8217;t want to like her and enjoy her company </strong>but within the first 5 seconds, <strong>she wins you over</strong> because she&#8217;s sincere, genuine, and that you really don&#8217;t know too much about her and that she&#8217;s a good person. Now, the two are &#8220;homies&#8221; as he says she works hard, doesn&#8217;t take things too seriously and is there for the right reason. </p>

<p>Val is also known for being a<strong> tough teacher </strong>and there was a moment where <strong>she wanted to cry </strong>but Olivia says he was pretty sweet about it but didn&#8217;t want to see it. The professional ballroom dancer admits that he used to be harsher when seeing his partners get upset but has since relaxed as <strong>he didn&#8217;t want to cross the line between being tough and cruel. </strong></p>
