The hit Netflix series La Casa de Papel or Money Heist has officially wrapped their fifth and final season of the series! The production was delayed for months due to Covid-19 but was given permission to film in July last year.
Netflix confirmed the Spanish series is coming out at the latter half of the year, predicting around late summer or October 2021 at the latest as post-production usually takes 4-5 months.
The director says the last season is the crew’s “hardest battle” yet. We assume they mean getting out of the Bank of Spain that they’re still stuck in but who knows, maybe they’ve got more trouble up their sleeves.
It will have 10 episodes to conclude, which is longer than the usual 8. Can’t wait!
Update: Part 1 of the series is dropping September 3rd while Part 2 drops December 3rd!
