Season 11’s bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season was running on the recap series Bachelor (Greatest of All time) yesterday and during her interview session, Harrison announced that she is going to be on Season 29 of Dancing with the Stars! She is the first contestant announced!
Bachelor stars often join its other ABC show right after their season airs such as with Sean Lowe, Nick Viall, Chris Soules and Hannah Brown. With Bristowe, although it was rumoured that she was going to join back when her season aired, she claims that Mike Fleiss, the creator of the show did not like how she spoiled the ending of her season (by accidentally leaking a snap story picture of her and Shawn, her final pick the day before the finale was aired) and got her removed from DWTS. Fleiss apparently also told her that she should focus on her relationship with Shawn instead of trying to become famous by going on another reality show as couples often find it hard to spend time with each other when they have hectic dancing schedules. Kaitlyn thought that was sexist as other bachelor leads have done it prior and held a grudge since. But now it looks like fate has turned around and this former professional dancer is FINALLY going to get her shot for the mirror ball trophy and we can’t wait! Dancing with the Stars usually return to TV in the fall but with a worldwide pandemic, we don’t know if it will get postponed. Regardless, we think Kaitlyn is going to be super entertaining!
