The show that became a hit on Netflix early this year had viewers wishing they could attend a ball filled with scandals, secret love affairs, and charming rich gentlemen asking for your hand in marriage. That could still happen once Pandemic ends but we probably wouldn’t be going in tight corset gowns…
Instead, Vogue reimagined modern day ball gown looks by having the Bridgerton cast (Phoebe Dynevor, Nicola Coughlan, Claudia Jessie, Adjoa Andoh and Golda Rosheuvel) pose with dresses appropriate for the 21st century.

The gowns were commissioned by the British Fashion Council who selected three students by the names of Aurélie Fontan, Edward Mendoza and Shanti Bell to design Regency era inspired pieces that are relative to the plot lines.
It seemingly blends in with the style of red carpet dresses these days. With the rise in popularity of Bridgerton, perhaps we’ll see more fashion wardrobe inspired the Regency era soon!
