It looks like there’s a new Disney starlet on the rise to fame and her name is Olivia Rodrigo!
In case you haven’t heard the news, Olivia Rodrigo, star of High School Musical: The Musical released her first single called “Drivers Licence” that sparked controversy as people suspected that it is about her being heartbroken over her co-star whom many thought she dated Joshua Basset dating Sabrina Carpenter, another former Disney star.

When she posted to her Instagram saying how excited she was that her song was third in US iTunes right under Taylor’s two bonus tracks from Evermore, Taylor herself saw and congratulated her:
Of course, Olivia, being a Taylor Stan herself reposted her comment, jokingly tweeting that she was going to change her name to Taylor Swift’s baby:
She further reposts on Instagram with a voice over saying that this is the highlight of her senior year:
A lot of fans can not only relate to Olivia’s song about being heart broken but also her fan reaction to icon Taylor Swift! It looks like 2021 is starting out right for Ms. Rodrigo!
