With TikTok being a huge platform amongst teens, the new ‘It’ girl of Hollywood may not be in the form of singers like Britney Spears or leading actresses like Jennifer Lawrence.
Instead, they may be come from the form of social media stars who gained a big enough fandom to boost their careers into a more mainstream Hollywood career and that is exactly how Addison Rae has been launching her career path. She seems to be everywhere these days and we’re going to get to bottom of why we think her career is going to explode:

With nearly 80 million followers on TikTok, 37.8 million on Instagram, and close to 5 million on YouTube, she is a social media sensation. Not even some A-list celebrities reach that level of massive following so it is safe to say, her career as an influencer at least, would not be going away any time soon.
2. She’s well-connected
Not only is she friends with many social media star like the D’Amelio sisters, but she already has befriended the most famous influencer family of all time – the Kardashians. In a recent episode of KWTK, Addison is seen having sleepovers with Kourtney and teaching Kim how to dance for TikTok. Even if she didn’t have talent, we think her networking skills would’ve gotten her to the top!
3. Her debut song was a hit
In less than 2 year since her first TikTok post, she has already released her debut single ‘Obsessed’, a hit song that landed in Billboard’s top 100 and was even invited to perform on Jimmy Fallon.
4. She’s starring in a Netflix movie
Talk about triple threat! Besides dancing and singing, the Louisiana native is appealing to Hollywood producers as well as she landed a main role in the upcoming Netflix movie He’s All That.
5. She is confident.
Despite the many haters and the backlash she has faced, Addison always seems to come out on top. She is trendy, approachable, and looks like she has a fun personality. She apologizes when she has done wrong or stirs up controversy and seems to recover just as quickly. Her backbone is what’s going to carry her forward into possibly becoming Hollywood’s next A-lister.
