Emily In Paris introduced a lot of characters in just 1 season – some controversial characters but some great. Here is our ranking of the characters from worse to best:
10. Catherine – She is annoying not only because she gets in the way of Antoine and Sylvie’s storyline, but because she decides who he gets to cheat with but still force a relationship in the public.
9. Antoine – he has different approaches to how he sees feminism but sending lingerie to a new young employee may have just crossed the line, even for French standards. He also plays with Sylvie’s feelings which isn’t cool. He is just ranked slightly above his wife as he seems to be a bit more self-aware and supporting Gabriel’s business gets him points as well.
8. Luc – he doesn’t have much character development but we appreciate his hair and him saving Emily from being fired
7. Sylvie – She is easily triggered by envy towards Emily which is unfortunate giving that she has shown depth as a character – especially towards her feelings with Antoine. However, her deciding to rehire Emily proves that she thinks logically and not emotionally.
6. Julien – he helps Emily learn some French and looks great in suits.
5. Mathieu Cadault – He’s sweet and has done nothing short of being a great romantic interest. Although, he does lack a bit of real world perspective but not his fault that he has been rich his whole life.
4. Gabriel – He may be hot but he did cheat on Camille. Even though it was Emily who kissed him, he did admit he likes her. Emotional cheating is still cheating!
3. Emily – As basic as she is, we do admire her for being bold enough to share her opinions at work which sets a great example for women. She did cheat as well though and slightly annoying in personality.
2. Camille – She has been nothing but friendly and welcoming towards Emily and doesn’t deserve to be cheated on. Even though she is rich, she is not spoiled and even invited Emily into her castle of a home.
1. Mindy – She is fun and the supportive friend we all love. We can all use a Mindy in our lives!
