Fans of the quirky and aesthetic beauty guru Ashley, or better known for her username bestdressed may have missed seeing her videos on YouTube. Her last video was uploaded 5 months ago in December 2020. While we may not know the real reason, here are some speculations as to why Ashley decided to go on a break:
1. She is going through a breakup. Although she never confirmed her relationship on YouTube, she does seem very much in love in her last video with the guy who was holding the camera. However, since then, Ashley posted to her TikTok that they have officially ended things as they each stopped sharing their locations with each other.
Shortly after she posted the video, she posted a “barely-holding-it-together-in-public” selfie. Poor Ashley!
2. She wants to take a break. When the 23-year-old use to upload once a week, she says she would work day and night which led to a lot of pressure and stress. Maybe combine that with the lack of motivation during the pandemic, Ashley decided to give herself a break to re-energize before hopefully jumping onto the platform.
3. She was moving. In her last video, Ashley mentioned that she had a stalker who climbed up to her apartment and scared her which led to her seeking for a new place to live. Perhaps she is busy trying to find a new place to live again. From the looks of these Instagram pictures though, it looks like she is already settled in.
4. She is working on different projects. Ashley has mentioned that she would like to start her own business whether that be a clothing line, earrings, or other fashion-related startups. Perhaps she is taking more of a business woman direction in the future.
These are all just assumptions to why Ashley may be gone but hopefully she will come back on our screens again!
