Camila’s second album, Romance, is arguably the most underrated albums of 2019. Although her live performances from this record were memorable, Romance itself did not perform great at awards shows. This doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be appreciated because it truly is, one of the best albums of modern pop. Here is the ranking the songs from worse to best:

14. Used to This – although last on our list, it is still undboutedly a beautiful song which tells you the standard of Camila’s killer song son this album. ‘Used to This” is about getting adjusted to a healthy partnership because she never experienced it.

13. Dream of You – Camila pays tribute to her lover as she sings how she can’t stop thinking about her special someone.

12. My Oh My – a fun and sassy song about the thrill of going for the “bad” guy.

11. Feel It Twice – This song addresses a past lover who is still in love with her but she has already moved on and it hurts her even then, to reject him.

10. Liar – lying to herself that she doesn’t want this person but she knows she does.

9. Should’ve Said It – Telling her past lover that he should’ve took his chance when he had it and now knowing he has regrets.

8. First Man – love does not always have to be romantic. Camila dedicates this song to her father as she assures him that even though there is a new man in her life, he will always be the first to show her that.

7. Cry For Me – a song about the expression of jealousy and anger of an ex moving on that is screams crazy but is also relatable.

6. This Love – her most mature sounding song yet that depicts the repetitive cycles of a toxic relationship.

5. Señorita – This collab was the start of Camila’s real romance with now boyfriend Shawn Mendes and is one of her most memorable songs to date. Their voices blend together perfectly, bringing the heat to an album about romantic love.

4. Shameless – not being embarrassed to show someone you want them.

3. Living Proof – Camila sings about the highs of physical attraction

2. Bad Kind of Butterflies – Camila talks about the anxiety of telling someone you don’t want them anymore because there is someone else on their mind. The chorus with Camila’s high notes really emphasizes this indecision. This is deemed the most underrated song of the album.

1. Easy – a love song about how surprisingly easy it is for her to be loved.
