
<p>Thought you were done with the <em>Sour</em> era? Think again! <strong>Olivia Rodrigo releases her fourth music video from her debut album &#8216;brutal&#8217;</strong>. This took fans by surprise as she announced the release just 10 minutes before sharing it with the world.</p>



<p>This is an unexpected but definitely a welcomed surprise for her fans. Check out the video:</p>

<p><strong>The MV was directed by Petra Collins who also directed the &#8220;good 4 u&#8221; music video as well as Selena Gomez&#8217;s &#8220;fetish.&#8221;</strong> Petra is known to mix early 2000s aesthetics in her work with modern technology and for the message being up to interpretation. We definitely see Petra&#8217;s direction in Olivia&#8217;s work as a trendsetting aesthetic for the next few years. </p>



<p>&#8216;brutal&#8217; is one of Olivia&#8217;s most different sounding but popular songs on the album so it isn&#8217;t too much of a shock for her to choose it as a single. We wonder if this will be her final single or if she&#8217;s got more tricks up her sleeve&#8230;</p>
