Demi Lovato has had quite an eventful year and she mentioned reflects on these events while on stage at the People’s Choice Awards as its host! The 28 year old first stated that this past year felt like the longest year of her life which is pretty accurate for most of us stuck in quarantine. Although she’s grateful for some parts of it. “Don’t get me wrong, it started out amazing. I performed at the GRAMMYs and sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl.”
“But then, COVID hit, and everything shut down.” Lovato then went on about her infamous breakup with fiancée Max Ehrich whom she dated for a short while during quarantine jokingly saying, “so I did what everyone else did, I went into lockdown mode, and got engaged.”
So what has Lovato been doing with all the extra free time? Apparently trying out new hobbies! She says, “I got into painting, photography, meditation, tested the limits of Postmates unlimited. Also, I didn’t know this could happen, but reached the end of Instagram four times.” Plus, she binged seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars,” and concluded with “then went looking for aliens in the desert.” This is a reference to her admitting to spotting aliens as well when Miley Cyrus first tweeted about it. “So basically the same as everyone else,” Lovato concluded.
