Our first High School Musical baby on the way! Ashley Tisdale, who played the iconic Sharpay Evans is expecting her first child with husband Christopher French.
She made the announcement by posting these photos on her social media (click to enlarge):
The couple wed 6 years ago when Tisdale was 29 and French, 32. For a long time, the couple did not feel it was the right time to have kids. She said “Whether you’re traveling or you have work or education or you’re married and not ready to have a kid yet, there are options out there,” she noted in a birth control ad in 2019. “For me, it’s like, it’s OK to not want to start a family right away. People are always asking me about that, but it’s just not the right time. And I have options out there.”
Guess a year can really change a person’s mind, especially in a year of quarantine. We are so excited for the Frenchs!
