Good news for One Directioners – because Liam Payne just announced that there are plans to celebrate the boyband’s 10th anniversary in July of 2020!

If you didn’t know, the boy band first formed in 2010 (can you believe it’s been 10 years?)  and became an instant hit with their smash single What Makes You Beautiful.  

They then went on to tour all over the world, 5 studio albums, selling 50 million records, before they all went their separate ways to do their own projects. Zayn in particular left early in 2015 to pursue his own music passions the earliest. So far, Liam has not confirmed if he would back for the reunion. 

However, Liam didn’t spill a lot of what exactly they are working on.

He says “There’s a number of different things that we are all working on to try and make happen and people are forwarding emails around. But more than anything it’s just been a real good time for us to connect together again.”

Looking back at his time on 1D, Liam still “can’t believe, I still feel like I don’t know what the hell I’m doing.”

He has nothing but great things to say about his bandmate Harry Styles’s music. “Adore You, I see it in the charts all the time. I think he’s really found his sound at the moment which is a joy to watch.”

We are so glad that Liam is still in touch with his bandmates and can’t wait for what’s coming up!
