Selena and BLACKPINK’s newest single “Ice Cream” may seem like a cute summer time bop about girls having a snack but if you take a closer look at the lyrics, that is not exactly the message they are conveying.
Sorry to burst your innocence young Blinks and Selenators but these women are actually expressing their sexual desires. Surprising coming from the ex-Disney star and girl group with a teen demographic right? But just because the visuals have to be kept at PG13, doesn’t mean the lyrics are. Let’s take a closer look…
Selena tells a man to “come a little closer because you are looking thirsty.”
Lisa raps “Snow cone chilly/ Get it free like Willy“.
Jennie says “You could take a lick but it’s too cold to bite me“.
Rose: “Look so good yeah look so sweet/ Looking good enough to eat”
Selena: “You can double dip cause I know you like me”
Jisoo: “You are the cherry piece so stay on top of me“
