Selena officially came out with the full version of her Rare deluxe album today which adds up to 17 songs in her album. They are all catchy but some are just better than others. Here is a rank of the songs from less appealing to phenomenal: 

17. Fun – A song about being playful and wanting someone for a good time
Best Line: This is just what the doctor ordered (yeah)/ Put a gold star on my disorder

Best Line: There’s a difference between a want and a need

15. Vulnerable – Being vulnerable is scary because someone can take advantage of it but its the only way to be honest.
Best Line: If I show you all my demons/ And we dive into the deep end/ Would we crash and burn like every time before?

14. Feel Me – A song about desire and physical attraction.
Best Line: Do you stay up late, just so you don’t dream?

13. Crowded Room – Even in a crowded room, it feels like there is just two people there.
Best Line: Yeah, I was afraid, but you made it safe/ I guess that is our combination

12. Let Me Get Me – A self-love anthem about not letting negativity get yourself down.
Best Line: In the dark I’m letting go, so anonymously/ I guess this is what it feels like to be free

11. People You Know – Some people you know can become strangers later.
Best Line: We used to be close, but people can go/ From people you know to people you don’t

10. Kinda Crazy – When you finally realize that a person is toxic.
Best line: I think you’re kinda crazy and not the good kind baby

9. Cut you Off – Getting rid of someone who weighted you down.
Best Line: Professionally messing with my trust/How could I confuse that shit for love?

8. Sweeter Place – There must be a better place than where we are right now
Best Line: Red lips, French-kiss my worries all away/ There must be a sweeter place

7. Dance Again – A song about getting to dance again which is synonymous with being able to find herself again.
Best Line: Happiness/ Ain’t something you sit back and you wait for

6. Souvenir – Having a strong connection with someone that they take your breath away like a souvenir.
Best Line: Calling your name the only language I speak

5. She – Selena addresses the younger version of herself who was innocent but was negatively influenced by Hollywood.
Best Line: Cause she was a girl with good intentions

4. Ring – Knowing a person is into you but they are doing too much. Ring as in letting the phone ring on but not picking up and also as a metaphor knowing you have them wrapped around your finger like a ring.
Best Line: Wrapped ’round my finger like a ring, ring, ring

3. Look at Her Now – Getting back on your feet after a heartbreak and a tribute to how far one has come.
Best Line: Took a few years to soak up the tears but look at her now

2. Lose You to Love Me – Needing to let go of someone is the only way to fully heal and love yourself again.
Best Line: Rose colored glasses all distorted/ Set fire to my purpose

1. Rare – The title of this song speaks volume. Rare is the common ground of all the other songs on the album
Best Line: And I’ll bet there’s somebody else out there/ To tell me I’m rare
