January is Selena’s month! After last year’s ‘Rare’ album release, Selena bounced back quick on her feet to produce another single from a possible fully Spanish album. This time, she released ‘De Una Vez’. Check it out (tip: turn on caption for the English lyrics):
This is the ‘Ice Cream’ singer’s second Spanish song after her ‘Un Año Sin Lluvia’, the Spanish edition of ‘A Year Without Rain’ released with Selena and The Scene released all the way back in 2010! Her vocals have definitely changed a lot since then!
Back to ‘De Una Vez’, for non-spanish speakers, it translates to ‘At Once’ and it’s about being stronger than ever after heart ache.
The visuals, directed by Los Pérez gives a quarantine vibe as it is set in a house with interesting visual affects.
At the end, she also teases new single ‘Baila Conmigo’ or ‘Dance With Me’ rumoured to feature Rauw Alejandroс, which was the title of the song that was highly suspected of Selena months ago as there was a mural spotted in Mexico with her face painted on it.
With not one, but two Spanish singles out by the half-Mexican pop star, it does look like she is steering into the direction of a full Spanish album!
Looks like English speaking Selenators gotta learn Spanish fast!
