DOGS CAN NOW SMELL IF YOU HAVE COVID-19

You heard of dogs smelling out bombs at airports and may even be able to detect cancer, but did you know they can smell out who has the COVID-19 too?

According to the BBC, they are training dogs to detect those who have the virus and this will help screen those who are without symptoms at the airport and also will help reduce the number of testing kits required. In the past, these dogs can detect malaria, cancer and Parkinson’s disease. However, the process can take 6 weeks. Hopefully by then the virus will be much more cleared out and the dogs will only be sniffing to prevent re-entrance of an outbreak.
