Season 23’s final couple Colton and Cassie had called it quits in May but that doesn’t mean their chapter is closed like they had said in their breakup post.
No, because their story continues with a dark turn when Cassie filed a restraining order against Colton after she claimed he had stalked her, put a tracking device on her car, and harassed her through text.
Now, the text messages have been revealed to the public through the documents that were released and his messages reveals A LOT of tea on their relationship.
He first tells Cassie in a long paragraph text saying he isn’t going to “sit there and let her abuse me like with her ex” and that she would ditch her friend if she had a better opportunity.
He continues writing “Because your a selfish person who isn’t ready to be loved. I spent two years loving you the best I could and now I’m sitting here looking like a fool.”
Then, there are long paragraphs texted to their mutual friend where he writes that he is “reflecting back on all the red flags I ignored throughout our relationship is what’s killing me” while calling her an abuser, plus blaming her parents for making decisions for her. This seems very much like the same story from Bachelor where she could not make a decision and it was ultimately her dad that convinced her not to get engaged.
Furthermore, he texts Cassie’s 18-year-old BROTHER where he rants about how angry he was that she did an interview with the Bachelor franchise for their GOAT special after mutually agreeing to not publicly speak on their breakup (Cassie defended herself publicly by saying she didn’t reveal any information on their breakup). He was frustrated because she knows how much the franchise messed with his head.
Colton even mentions how lonely he is because he moved to California to be with Cassie and now has no support system.
His brother texted back saying he doesn’t feel comfortable talking about the whole situation, but what was CONCERNING was that he texted Colton because he wanted to make sure he was okay after seeing him in an alley. Does that imply he was lurking near her house??
He then again texts Cassie after months of being broken up asking if she talk multiple times with no response. Then a LONG paragraph is sent about how much he misses his best friend and lover.
Cassie responds that she cares for him but they should both move on.
Colton continues to bring up trust issues he’s having with her but Cassie defends herself saying they have broken up so the decisions she makes are for herself and wants to stop the drama.
Colton even texts Cassie’s ex Caelan taunting him saying just like old times, she is bouncing back and forth between Caelan and her ex from before that. Caelan simply responds that he just wants to be left out of the situation.
He then takes it to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL by using a random phone number, pretending to be a stalker, taunting Cassie saying how she treats people horribly and that she goes back to old flames.
Colton, to prove that he isn’t this stalker he made up, texts HIMSELF with taunting messages. He then mentions to Cassie about the stalker to hopefully bond with her.
