As one Bachelorette’s love story comes to a close with a happy ending, another one of Bachelor nation’s strongest couples, Carly and Evan, is unfortunately heading to the opposite end with a divorce.
The former couple called it quits after three years of marriage in a joint statement saying, “We have made the difficult decision to separate. We will always cherish our time together and continue to have the utmost respect for one another as we focus on what’s best for the future of our family. We greatly appreciate everyone’s love and support and kindly ask that you please respect our family’s privacy as we navigate through this.”
Carly, 35, met Evan, 38, on Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise where they turned all of Bachelor Nation’s heads when they fell in love despite Carly not wanting anything to do him at the beginning.
The former couple eventually got married in the following season of Bachelor in Paradise and had two children Bella, 2, and Charlie, 1, who was born last November.
Although they have not posted on their Instagrams on their split yet, some fans have speculated a fallout as the two have not posted about each other on their respective Instagram pages for a long time and very infrequently before.
For Evan, this would be his second divorce as he was previously married and has three boys before, and for Carly, this would be her first.
This is the third couple from Bachelor nation to divorce – and it all happened this year!
