The release of Selena and BLACKPINK’s new song “Ice Cream” was out today already setting the record for the most viewed collab music video in 24 hours ever! What a lot of people don’t know is that Ariana Grande helped co-write the song.
To celebrate the release, Ariana even sent a giant ice cream shaped flower to Selena as well as a sweet note writing “Selena, Congratulations ice queen! Love & Gratitude, -Ari.” Selena shared on her story writing back “Thank you so much for everything. Your support means the world!!”
Selena and Ariana have been compared a lot over the years as they both starred on teen sitcoms whom then transitioned to have successful music career so by supporting each other, they are setting a good example for their fans of women supporting instead of competing with each other. Kudos to them!
