In late April, on her birthday, Gigi posted photos to her Instagram that lead people speculating that she was pregnant in which she later confirmed on Jimmy Fallon that she was.
Ever since then, fans were excited for her but soon lost that excitement when Gigi, who is often very candid about her personal life on social media, did not share any photos of her bump. This made people wonder if she was embarrassed about it or is ashamed but today, she took to Instagram Live to share the reasons why she does not post pictures of her bump.
Gigi took to explain that no, she is not embarrassed but she just did not want to be distressed about having to look good for the camera everyday if she posts it now. She also did not want to take attention away from the important things on the news like Covid-19, and the BLM movement. She did mention that she loves being in comfy pyjamas all day and did show the bump to prove she does have it:
Gigi also mentions that she has been taking a lot of photos even if they are not shown and will post it in other times because she knows how important it is to document the special process. We respect Gigi for understanding that there are bigger issues in the world and to not take attention away from them!
