A big part of what makes Taylor Swift’s music so incredible is the videos she accompanies with it. They can either be simple but with incredible story-telling behind it like in “Mine” or incredibly dynamic with 20 different scenes like in “Look What You Made Me Do.” Here are Taylor’s top 10 songs that we think would make for incredible visuals based on how greatly she has already painted the imagery with her lyrics:

10. New Year’s Day

This song is about the love one has to be spending the after hours of a New Year’s Eve party with you. The little stuff like cleaning up after bottles and when the sound quiets down. Taylor has already painted memorable lines like “squeeze my hand three times in the taxi” so making a video would not be difficult.

9. Cornelia Street

Taylor made Cornelia Street famous by singing about a romance she experienced there. We can imagine visuals of a night life while giving viewers a glimpse into New York City, where the street is located.

8. betty

“betty” tells a story about a teenage love triangle from the perspective of the boy in the middle of it all. We can picture so clearly the emotions captured and the rumours at school being told.

7. All Too Well

“All Too Well” gives a nostalgic feel to the memory of a relationship, similar to “Back to December”. Given how popular the song is with fans, you’d think she would have a music video to carry it as well. Only in our wildest dreams, we guess.

6. The Way I Loved You

Taylor sings about how her healthy relationship with a gentlemen who does all the right things but she misses the days where she had a toxic relationship with her ex where they would scream and fight but that’s because they loved each other so passionately. This song perfectly embodies the love triangle in The Notebook. Someone even made their own version of the music video and it has over 10 million views! Now imagine the success of an actual music video from Taylor!

5. Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince

This song is full of imageries on homecoming and sports events where there are opposing teams and cameras flashing. It seems at first like she already created that type of music video in “You Belong With Me,” but upon a closer look at the lyrics, Taylor is talking about the political climate in America. Not only would the song make for an entertaining video, but it would also help further explain the actual meaning of the song while giving a slight nod to Taylor’s political stance where she had previously mentioned is important to her.

4. Long Live

This is one of the songs that makes you wish you were Prom queen and king of your high school. It’s emotional, romantic, and nostalgic and we’d love to have it play out on our screens.

3. no body no crime

This dark story about the speaker suspecting her friend Este’s husband murdering her to be with his mistress but there’s no evidence to show. As revenge, the speaker murders Este’s husband without leaving any proof. A story with twists and turns that can surely be the plot of a mystery-murder music video, if not – a movie!

3. the last great American dynasty

This song tells the story of Rebecca, a middle-class divorcée who married an oil tycoon. She was a controversial figure who threw lavish parties during her time at the house and even dyed her dog green. The house was later bought by Taylor. What an incredible story that deserved an imagery to go along with it!

2. Getaway Car

“Getaway Car” is the perfect set up to a runaway thief scenario that would’ve made an exciting video to watch!

1. Speak Now

Everyone, even if you are not a Swiftie, you can imagine the scenario described in the song. We can see it so clearly – just as the preacher says “speak now or forever hold your peace,” Taylor stands up from the crowd and interrupts. For a track that was the also the title of her album – you’d think there is for sure a music video out. A video is long overdue and perhaps when she distributes her re-recorded version, we’ll finally get one? Hopefully? At least we got somewhat of a theatrical version at her World Tour.
